Spawn at Ocean coastal or Bog border zones, complete your first gamma mission for hexagons, and tame a Parasaur or Ichthyosaur before attempting X-Creatures. Map and Five Biomes
Genesis Part 1 spans Bog swamps, Arctic peaks, Ocean trenches, Volcanic hellscape, and Lunar moon surface — now linked by a map-sized ocean in Ascended. Use HLN-A for safe teleportation or sail between zones with Tides of Fortune ships. Each biome hosts unique X-Creature variants, mission terminals, and environmental hazards.

Dragontopia — Dragon Expansion
ARK: Dragontopia launched as a surprise third update on July 3, 2026. This premium expansion pass introduces aerial dragon gameplay, the Umbra obsidian dragon, Drake Claw mobility, Dragon Skill Tree progression, and Draconic Armor cosmetics. Lumina went live July 9 (patch 91.0). Sky-Behemoth (Gargantar) arrives October with the full skyworld map finale on December 9, 2026.
