ARK: Genesis Ascended Part 1 released on July 2, 2026, after a one-week delay from the original June 25 date. Studio Wildcard cited final console certification and polish as delay reasons. Bob's True Tales: Tides of Fortune launched simultaneously as companion naval DLC.
The release marks the first major Genesis content remastered in Unreal Engine 5 for ARK: Survival Ascended, following The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, and other map remasters in the ASA roadmap.
Price and Purchase
Genesis Ascended Part 1 costs $14.99 USD on Steam, PlayStation Store, and Xbox Store. Tides of Fortune is a separate paid DLC in the Bob's True Tales series — required for custom ships, Tidepup, and naval engrams. Palaeoctopus is free for all Genesis Part 1 owners.
ARK: Survival Ascended base game is required. Genesis is an expansion, not standalone. Steam supports 16 language interfaces; voice-over remains English only.
