What Are Hexagons?
Hexagons are the premium currency unique to Genesis Part 1. You earn them by completing missions, fixing glitches scattered across biomes, and defeating certain X-Creature alphas. Gamma missions suit solo players and new tribes, rewarding 50–200 hexagons per run. Beta missions require coordinated gear and tames, paying 200–800 hexagons. Alpha missions demand min-maxed builds and often prohibit certain tame types, but payout 800–2000+ hexagons plus high-tier loot crates containing Tek blueprints.
Best Hexagon Farming Strategies
Identify two or three missions you can complete quickly and reliably — Ocean hunt missions and Bog gather missions are popular early farms. Run them on cooldown rotation rather than chasing every alpha immediately. Bonus time windows shown on mission terminals grant extra hexagons when you finish under the par time.
